Shirley Temple

Sheinside blouse c/o (here), LOFT pants, Aldo clutch, Lilac Bijoux necklace c/o (here), ShoeDazzle c/o wedges on
sale (here)

Oh, these pants. I purchased them over a year ago (maybe more?) and have only worn them once. I was so anxious to shop after my second son was born and thought I was back to my pre-pregnancy size but was mistaken. So these pants (which are a size too big) have been sitting in my closet ever since. I never got rid of them because I knew they would fit if I got pregnant again. You know, that awkward point where you are oozing out of your regular clothes but maternity clothes are too big. I think I might be able to stuff myself in my skinny jeans but it may not be pretty. Just warning you for future posts.

And this hair. I can't stand when curls are too perfect, so naturally, I brushed through them trying to loosen them. It worked on one side of my head but the other side kept popping back into perfect ringlets. You can't win every time!

Have a great weekend!

  5. My hair definitely does the Shirley Temple sometimes...but I think they look fantastic on you. So glad you kept these pants!! They're so cute. It really is an awkward stage between being a little too big for regular clothes, but not big enough for maternity clothes. You look so great!

  13. I don't like the too-perfect curl thing either. I think yours look great! Those pants are so awesome! It's a shame you don't get to wear them more (though I suppose it means you get to stay in your smaller size which is always nice)!

  20. I just found your blog from "Welcome to my Midsummer Cloud" and saw your comment about working at Camp Laurel in Maine about 11 years ago. I worked at Camp Laurel South about 10 years ago!! It's so cool to meet you! I was a tennis instructor and stayed in a cabin with the 7th grade girls. That was an experience:) I still have all my counselor t-shirts that I wear as pjs:)p.s.-I love your outfit! Hope you're having a great day!
