I realize that my definition of 'casual' may not line up with everyone else's definition. I don't think that a casual look is defined by wearing a pair of flats or a pair of shorts. I don't typically wear flats, yet I still think that I am able to keep a look somewhat laid-back and casual with other pieces. This tank and shorts together are definitely a casual look but I kept it a little more polished with a wedge sandal and a blazer. You know that I love my blazers. What would I do without them?!
Since I'm linking up at Because Shanna Said So for her Random Wednesday link-up, I thought I would share a few random facts about myself:
- I got to take a jazz class for the first time in almost a year the same day we took these pictures. I have never (ever, ever, ever) been so tired in my entire life. Can we say out of shape? (If you are a dancer, then you understand the difference between out of shape and out of dance shape!)
- I love cruises and I'm a die-hard Celebrity fan but I'm thinking about going on this ship when it is finished. I guess that makes me a cheater.
- I pretty much prefer to do all of my shopping online now. With so many companies offering free shipping, it seems silly to go out shopping.
- I'm a homebody and could happily spend every single night on my couch watching movies.
- I wish I could do this:

I feel that gold jewelry looks elegant with black and white print. Excellent outfit, if you ask me.

Oh gosh, I totally know the difference between out of shape and out of dance shape! I'm in shape, but I haven't been in dance shape for years ;) I'm loving this outfit - it's casual, but without being sloppy, which I think is a trap that a lot of people fall into. And your blazer/blouse combination is just lovely :)

I love this look and my idea of casual is not others... my super casual/stay at home on the couch is usually other's casual! But comfort is key! :)

I love that top. I want it. Love your look. And my definition of "casual" is different from most peoples, too. One night, the hubs said "Oh you are going really dressy" and I said "This isn't dressy" and he said "Yeah, that is kind of dressy". I would have called the look semi- casual...

I love the blazer and shorts look! I wish I could get excited about cruises but the thought of being stuck on a boat terrifies me. I am totally with you on online shopping...it's so easy now with free shipping. I just always have to make sure it's free shipping BOTH ways. I had to pay $8 to send something back and was totally not happy about it!
