Stripes Twice

My hubby and I finally got a date night this weekend. We went to see The Great Gatsby and later, to dinner. I remember telling my sister that I was going to see the movie and I told her that I had never read the book and had no idea what it was about. She said, "Yes, you did Amy! I have your book from high school with your notes in it!" Oh. Oops.




It was a great movie and a great date night. We even went the next day and saw Star Trek (another great movie). Two movies in two days? Things are getting crazy around here!

    Hooray date night! The hubs and I want to see both of those movies (but not knowing anyone out here makes it hard to find a babysitter). I remember loving that book in high school, it's funny you don't remember reading it!

    And I love that lip color against the monochromatic outfit. So pretty.

    I have been dying to see the great gatsby since i saw previews for it over a year ago. Then BF decided he needed to read the book first. He's such a slow reader I am getting this close to going alone and eating a whole bucket of popcorn to myself lol.

    haha, don't worry, I didn't pay much attention to the books I read in highschool either. I only remember Lord of the flies because it was so gruesome, and now that I think about it, who the heck would allow highschoolers read that?!? Anyways, back to fashion. LOVE this outfit on you. I love black and white- it's so simple but there's so much you can do with it. You always look so gorgeous in your outfits :)
