Bold Prints

When it comes to mixing bold prints, I think sometimes I tend to shy away. I'm pretty sure that print mixing still has not made its way to the town where I live. I think, however, that a bold, bright color can distract from mixed prints, and bold color is probably a little more easily embraced.

If mixing two prints is a little much for you, a great way to ease into the print trend would be by picking just one print (like classic polka dots) and pairing it with other classic pieces.

Are you an all-over print kind of girl? Or do you just stick to one? I normally stick to one but I am going to try and be a little more adventurous in the future. If I can find all of the pieces in the first outfit, I will wear it in an outfit post. It just might be my favorite combination that I have done!

Have a great day!

  4. I only recently discovered my love for prints but I am not into mixing prints e.g. florals and stripes. Even it is very popular and I do like it on others it is not my personal style.

  7. Love the printed pants. I just picked up a floral pant that I'm loving and can't wait until it warms up a bit to wear... I typically stick to just one print in an outfit too, although I am starting to break out of that a bit. If I double up on prints, I pretty much stick to subtle prints - not quite adventurous enough to mix two bold prints yet!

  11. Love the second outfit. The first is a bit bright for me....I could see it look great in a pic or a blog post, but maybe odd in real life. The second is completely adorable and I love the detail on the shoes!
