Loft (yellow) blouse, F21 (pink) blouse, A.N.A shorts via JCP, Gap sandals, F21 jewelry |
* Before you scroll down, know that no bloggers nor their husbands were harmed during the photo shoot for this post.
This is the first time that I have squeezed (yes, squeezed) into these shorts in a few weeks. Obviously my legs have not seen the light of day in about five years and I am not ashamed. Okay, maybe I am just a little. At least they aren't covered completely in bruises like they were this time last year. Last year I decided to dance in our recital so my legs had plenty of bruises from all of the floor work in our dance. This year, not so much. I am not dancing in the recital, but I kind of wish that I was. The girls are dancing to 'Sway' by Michael Buble and I have made it sort of a salsa-ish dance. A lot of hip shaking and a lot of fun.
When we took these pictures the other day, I was completely out of ideas as to where we should do them. My husband suggested these tracks, which we haven't used in a long time.
So here I am, strutting my stuff, feeling all awkward because I don't have a handbag (somehow those give me confidence when taking pictures) and I just hear my husband say 'Um...'
Don't worry, we got off the tracks in plenty of time.
