Bisou Bisou tunic, handmade skirt, Target heels, F21 necklace, sunglasses |
I have only worn this tunic with leggings until I thought about pairing it with a skirt. I simply hitched up the bottom of it a bit so that it wouldn't show under the skirt. I made the skirt a few years ago when I was on a sewing kick. I hope to get back into sewing sometime soon. I started making a pair of pants a few weeks ago and got as far as cutting out the pattern. So maybe by this time next year they will be ready!
Have a great weekend!

Super talented - love the skirt! Smart to pair the tunic with a skirt too, I always think tunic-leggings, but pairing with a skirt makes so much sense. I can't stop buying animal print...especially since it's considered a neutral now. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love pairing skirts with longer pieces, dresses, etc. Great was to remix things!

You sew???? Love it! I want to learn so badly...I guess I need a sewing machine first!! You have to finish the pants....I want to see them!! happy weekend, Amy!!

I love when I find a new way to wear a piece in my closet. It sort of breathes new life into things!
ReplyDeleteBoth pieces work well today-- cute look!
As for your sewing adventures--- I am extremely jealous. I want to learn terribly. We actually own a sewing machine (my husband knows how!), but I haven't had the chance yet to learn.
