Love Leather

I've been slightly obsessed lately with leather so I thought I would look for a few faux leather pieces that my readers might be interested in. I started with the lowest-priced item that I could find: a faux leather trim t-shirt at only $18. I did a post on Monday on some fabulous faux leather finds, so if you are like me and love this trend, jump on it while it is hot!

Slightly off topic, I thought I would give you guys a little peek into what has been my life as of late. My three-year-old son started school today (pre-school) and I think I was a little more stressed out than he was. I hardly slept a wink last night knowing that we had to be up at the crack of dawn and dressed, fed, make-up on (that would be me, not him). We made it on time and he went in with no stress or tears.

I have also been busy teaching (eight classes this year.) I love my job and I am so fortunate to spend a few days a week teaching girls to dance. This is my first year in over ten years to teach kids under the age of ten. It is very cool to see little minds at work and to see them grasp concepts. Now if I can just get them to listen to me the WHOLE time then we will be in business!

Have a fabulous day!

Fall Uniform

Romper - local boutique (Zoe's Closet), Emu Australia boots - (similar), F21 watch

I don't know about you, but I have a 'uniform' that I turn to when cooler weather hits. I really don't wear this romper too much in the summer because I never really liked the way it looked with sandals.

My Emu Australia boots have been my favorite boots for the past few years (although I did cheat on them this year and buy a new pair).

Have a great day!

Faux Leather

Worthington top and skirt (JCPenney), Francesca's clutch, Target shoes,
F21 jewelry except ring (Charming Charlie), sunglasses

As cute as leather pieces are, sometimes the price tags that go along with them are a little too steep. Lately, I've been on the lookout for faux leather pieces that fit my style and budget. While preparing a post on faux leather pieces for later in the week, I stumbled upon some things at JCPenney. I was impressed with the selection of items in-store as well as the price points.

I searched the website numerous times for this skirt but was unable to find it. You may be able to go to your local store and see if they carry it because the website does not seem to have it at this time. (If you find it then you are lucky. It is a steal at only $25!) If you are unable to find it, I found an option here, and a slightly pricier version here

Have a great day!
