I love the look of a straight, slimming pencil skirt. When I put one on, suddenly I am transformed into a business woman. I feel like I should have a (cute) briefcase under my arm as I rush off to an important meeting. Well, we all know that my job does not include pencil skirts, but pencil turns (a type of turn we do in jazz class). Even so, it is fun to dress up when the occasion does not call for my true work attire (a leotard and tights).

Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful mom. You have been such an inspiration to me and I love you so very, very much. The older I get, the more I realize that I have become YOU and I am proud to say that!

I hope all of you moms out there have a fabulous Mother's Day and just always remember that you have the most important job on the face of this planet. Nothing is more important than guarding and protecting the innocent little souls that have been entrusted to us.
